Natalie Kane

Registered Hand therapist

I believe that the best results happen when we balance the right clinical approach with what is actually practical for patients. I take the time to understand not just your injury, but your lifestyle, so we can co-create a plan together that is going to help you back to independence and achieving your goals, faster.

It’s hard to appreciate how much you need your hands until you can no longer use them as usual! As someone who understands what it’s like to be sitting on the other side of the table, I empathise with the challenges our patients often face, and ensure this is a place where you feel listened to. With my background in occupational therapy, I help you identify what is important to you, and offer advice around adaptations that support your rehabilitation.

I have a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation. Wound care, acute injuries and post-operative surgical care are particular areas of interest. With my own passion for fitness and dancing, I can particularly relate to patients who are focused on returning to their favourite sports or hobbies. But no matter what’s brought you here, seeing your quality of life improve with the right care is the most rewarding part of my job.
